Robbie leads the UK parliamentary, infrastructure consenting and government affairs businesses at global law firm Pinsent Masons. He advises on UK infrastructure and economic development policies, programmes and projects from a planning, environmental and administrative law perspective. This includes advising on policy formulation, enabling legislation, consenting and delivery. Robbie has over 35 years’ experience of advising UK transport project promoters on the planning, consenting and operation of a wide variety of projects and proposals; and on public policy and parliamentary issues. He led the legal team advising Port of Tilbury on the Development Consent Order for Tilbury obtained in 2019.  He also led the legal team advising P&O and subsequently DP World, on the Harbour Empowerment Order obtained for London Gateway Port in 2008 and on the Local Development Order obtained for London Gateway Logistics Park in 2013.
