The Honourable Mike Gallacher became the CEO of Ports Australia in 2017 following over 20 years in NSW Parliament. During his parliamentary career, he was appoint Vice-President of the Executive Council, Minister for Police and Emergency Service and Minister Industrial Relations. 

In his current role Mike is a strong advocate for the ports sector and has been appointed to numerous Government initiated Boards/Advisory groups including Customs Advisory Board, National Trade Facilitation Committee and is also a Board member of PIANC (Australia).
