Jerry was appointed PD Ports Executive Chairman in September 2022, having held board positions at the company for more than 30 years. A key strategic decision maker, he led the transformational development of container operations on the Humber and Teesside, underpinned by the progression of portcentric logistics. 

He was instrumental in the growth of bulks and offshore energy sectors in Teesside and has secured major international investments, including the world’s largest biomass power station. 

Jerry is a trustee of the High Tide Foundation, which raises career aspirations for young people, and is vice chairman of the UK Major Ports Group.
