Baroness Vere has been a Transport Minister for 4 years and been in government for 6 years.  She was reappointed to the Aviation brief in September 2022 and added the Maritime brief in October of that year.

 She has previously worked in education, mental health and recruitment, and started her career as an investment banker. She has an MBA from Northwestern and a degree in Engineering.
